Story: The story was great because it was full of action and humor. 9.5

Acting: Acting was great. Not really any cheesy parts, which is good. 9.0

Humor: The humor in this is great for most ages. 9.6

Visuals: Visuals are great. It was so cool when the giant robot is destroying San Franscico and knocking down skyscrapers as if they were legos. 9.4

Overall: A great movie for the whole family.

(Note: This movie is on my birthday list. I rented this, and I hope I get it on Blu-ray!)

17 Again Review

Story: I like the story of this film because it is both sad and funny. 8.2

Acting: Surprisingly, the acting was really good. I was expecting Zac Effron to be a bad actor for this but I was wrong. 8.5

Humor: The humor in this was really great. It made my whole family laugh. 9.0

Ending: The ending of this is good because it made me happy when the husband and he wife got back together again. 8.6

9 Movie Review

Story: Although the critics did not like the story but, I loved the story. It was really interesting. 9.0

Acting: The voiceovers for 9 was Elijah Wood. He is one of the best actors ever! He did a great job in it. 9.2

Visuals: The visuals were just amazing. It looked so real. 9.8

Ending: The ending was interesting because 9 had the same ending as the original version. The original is ten minutes long and was made in 2005. The person who directed this short film helped with 9. You can watch the old one on youtube. 9.5

Overall: This movie is the second best animated film on m list. You definately don't want to miss this.

New Things on TV

A lot of cool TV shows are coming out. I am looking forward to seeing some of them.

Smallville Season 9 is starting this month and there is a link to a trailer for it on this blog.

The Office is starting this Thursday! 

A new show coming out called 2 Minutes and 17 Seconds. Looks cool!

All of these look very cool. I am absolutely going to watch them!

State of Play Movie Review

Story: the story of the movie is one of the best parts of it. It was very smart. 9.5

Acting: the acting is this movie is pretty good with Ben Aflleck. 9.0

Special effects: not much special effects in it but when there is, it's pretty good. 8.7

Ending: the ending was an interesting plot twist. 8.9

Overall: Great movie to rent.

Push Movie Review

Story: cool story. It's a mix of X-men and Jumper. It's like X-men because there's a lot of mutants everywhere and it's like Jumper with the government tracking them down, but it is not very original and it is extremely confusing. 8.5

Acting: great acting. Chris Evens and Dakota Fanning are great in it. 9.5

Special effects: very cool special effects. When the Movers move objects it looks very real. 9.0

Ending: very suspenseful. Ends in a cliffhanger so I hope they make a Push 2. 9.0

Overall: cool movie but an unoriginal story.

Blazing Angels PS3 Review

I got this at Cody, Wyoming! 

Presentation: Graphics are awesome, especially for a port. Voice acting is good but they sometimes swear. Good music. Interesting story. 9.0

Gameplay: The gameplay is simple: shoot all the Nazis planes down. But you only have two weapons, machine guns and rockets. But there is tons of different planes. 8.0

Multiplayer: Fun to play with a friend or cousin. You can't play the real missions on two player but you can duel, dogfight, do historic battles, and more. 8.5

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam PS3 Review

Presentation: Graphics are bad and the levels are ugly. Worst voice acting on any game I have ever heard. Music is kind of annoying, but the sound effects are pretty cool. Story is not interesting and hard to follow. 5.5

Gameplay: Pretty fun swinging swords and shooting at giant robots, but it gets SO boring. All you do in every single level is blow up a couple of robots and you win. Nothing else. This has got to be the most repetitive games I have ever played. 6.5

Multiplayer: Multiplayer is sort of fun. There is co-op offline multiplayer. There is also battling offline multiplayer. 7.5

Overall: You should never pay the full price for this game but it's worth  renting.

Transformers 2 Movie Review

Good: Cool special effects with cool action.

Bad: Very inappropriate, terrible acting, no interesting story, too long.

Overall: One of the biggest disappointments of any movie. I thought this could've been my favorite movie. The trailer looked so cool.

Star Wars the Force Unleashed

This was my first video game for PS3!

Presentation: Great graphics and is extremely detailed. You can destroy just about anything. Voice acting, music, and sound effects are phenomenal. Story is just plain amazing. 9.5

Gameplay: The gameplay is just as amazing as the presentation. You are this Star Wars character named Starkiller who goes around beating everybody up. There is TONS of thinks to use the force on. Like in one level, you can use the force on this giant ship and crush your enemies. You can also force grab your enemies and just fling him anywhere you want like of big bridges or even just slam him against the wall. Using the lightsaber is fun because there's a lot of combo moves for instance, you can combine your lighting powers with your lightsaber. Best thing about the gameplay is that it's easy to make HUGE explosions. Controls are great and smooth. But the gameplay is not perfect. Plat-forming is usually boring and frustrating at times. 9.2

Overall: Great game and good for the price. I recommend it.

I just watched rented this last night.

Good: Very artistic animations, very cool music, great story, cool 3D, interesting characters.

Bad: One scene is very inappropriate for a PG rated movie.

Overall: Very interesting and artistic movie.

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue PS3 Review

Presentation: The graphics are just plain awesome! Best graphics of any game I have ever seen. Sound is good. There is no story because its a racing game. 10.0

Gameplay: Very fun. Racing is hard on some tracks because there's like crazy sharp turns everywhere. Controls are very smooth. 9.5

Multiplayer: Cool 2 player but in order to earn money, you have to do single player races. 9.0

Overall: Incredible racing game with incredible graphics.

Incredible Hulk PS3 Review

This is a good blow up stuff, knock down building, and throw people kind of game. :)

Presentation: Graphics are good. I don't really know the story because all I did was free-roam the city and knock down buildings. Music was good. 8.5

Gameplay: Free-roaming: INCREDIBLY FUN! In free-roaming, you can pick up any vehicle on the road, and yes that includes buses, and chuck it anywhere you want. If you throw the vehicle into the top of a skyscraper, it gets stuck inside the building! You can also pick up a random pedestrian and just chuck him or her anywhere. If you want to really see some explosions, destroy the bottom of a skyscraper,  and watch come crashing down! One problem: it has terrible levels, but the free-roaming totally makes up for that. 9.9

Overall: An incredible free-roaming game, but does not have descent levels. A great game for $20.00

Spider-Man 3 PS3 Review

Presentation: The graphics are very disappointing because the graphics on the Spider-Man 2 game for PS2 had pretty good graphics for its time. The peoples faces on it look like zombies! Sound is good. Pretty good voice acting. Music is great. Story was not anything like the movies. In some of the levels, you have to take picture of giant lizards. 5.5

Gameplay: Gameplay was kind of fun. The controls for swinging are worse than Spider-Man 2. Fighting is kind of fun in fiery buildings. 7.0

Overall: Disappointing. This could have been really cool.

Prince of Persia PS3 Review

I have not played this game but I've watched my bro play it. Because of this, I'm not going to review the gameplay but I will review the presentation.

Presentation: INCREDIBLE graphics. One of the best graphics I've seen on the PS3. The music is the best music on any video game. Once you hear the main song, it gets stuck in your head for about an hour. The story is really cool but is confusing at parts. 10.0

Length: Very long and you can download 3 more hours of gameplay.

Cool game! Fun to watch.

Terminator Salvation Movie Review

Best sci-fi film of 2009.

Good: Great special effects, Great story, good acting.

Bad: Some scenes are VERY boring.

Overall: Great movie with impressive special effects.

Terminator Salvation PS3 Review

This is a fantastic game thats filled with action.

Presentation: Graphics are not very good. The animations are bad. Sounds are good but the voice actor for John Connor is not Christian Bale which is disappointing. Story is okay, John Connor with a small team is searching for a pocketful of resistance. 8.0

Gameplay: Very exciting. Instead of just killing the terminators, you and your teammates have to flank them. Tons of different weapons from shotgun to rocket launcher. Hard to learn the game. 9.5

Length: This game is SO short, that we beat it in a day. The game only has up to five hours of gameplay. We beat it twice. 7.0

Multiplayer: No online but there is offline co-op  multiplayer that is extremely fun to play with a friend. 9.5

Overall: Very fun to play with a friend but so short.

Lord of the Rings Conquest (PS3 Game review)

This is the best game of all time (Tornado Outbreak for PS3 might beat it). 

 Presentation: Great lighting effects but very pixelated not much dialogue but great music. Good story. 9.5

Gameplay: Best gameplay out of every game because what's more fun than shooting orcs with arrows, lightning, and using your sword?! 10.0

Multiplayer: It has both online and offline multiplayer! Very fun to play with a friend. 10.0

Overall: Amazing game!!!

Bad: Very bloody for a PG rated movie. 

Overall: Great movie. Not the best summer movie but still great. I recommend it.
